Procurement Specialist

Your position

We look at reinforcing the Credendo Procurement team with a Procurement expert focusing mainly on Non-ICT spend categories with affinity for ICT categories.

• You partner with internal customers within Credendo’s business lines so as to gather and globalise their needs across all business lines and plan ahead the related tenders and renewals.

• You explore the market, develop a network of suppliers and track down business opportunities.

• You support internal customers in their procurement processes and help them determine the best procurement strategy in relation to their needs.

• Your main responsibilities include the management of the procurement process, from the determination of operational needs to the negotiation and conclusion of contracts with suppliers, whether or not in the context of public procurement.

• You ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, different rules and regulations and CSR objectives.

• You negotiate with suppliers to get the best value for money and defend Credendo’s interests.

• You manage relationships with suppliers, not only to meet quality standards, delivery deadlines and general conditions, but also to ensure that contracts are always adapted to the company's needs.

Your profile

• You have at least 5 years of experience in strategic procurement.

• Experience with public procurement law is a plus.

• Fluent in French, Dutch and English.

• You have an analytical and synthetic mind and a critical attitude.

• You have good negotiation skills and you are fluent in dealing with stakeholders (both internal and external).

• You take ownership, you are result driven and customer oriented. You are a good listener, and you can adapt well to different situations.

• You have a high level of integrity and strong sense of procurement ethics.

• You are a team player with an entrepreneurial spirit, a positive attitude, a hands-on mentality.

• You are familiar with the most common MS Office programmes (Word, Excel, etc.). SAP knowledge is a plus.
