Insurance Policy Officer

Your position

You will report to both the UK Country Manager & Insurance Policies and Data Management Coordinator in Brussels. Duties will include the following:

• You will handle any policy related administrative tasks.
• You will review the monthly sales declarations and raise the monthly premiums.
• You will take the initiative to propose any required policy changes, prepare policy documentation and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• You will prepare procedures for renewals and look to provide solutions wherever there are issues.
• You will ensure the handling and follow-up of any payment delays.
• You will participate in internal meetings and maintain external contacts with insureds, brokers and other stakeholders.
• You will monitor statistics to track activities on your portfolio of policies.

Your profile

• Ideally you have a degree (but it’s not a prerequisite).
• You’re fluent in English (both written & oral)
• You like to work with figures and have GCSE / ‘O’ level equivalent in Maths.
• You have a good knowledge of IT tools.
• You have a sense of initiative, and you are customer oriented.
• You are well organised, flexible and pay meticulous attention to detail.
• You are able to work both independently and within a team framework.
